UPDATE ON PHASING CASE 430, or 428 as it was found to be. Photos by Tom Sharp showing the Case whilst work in progress.
We have this week been advised by Compact Orbital Gears that unit 430 is very close to completion, they are just awaiting for the supply of a replacement bearing then the case can be rebuilt and returned to The DPS Depot for fitting back onto unit 430 which is now ready and complete apart from fitting ex stock new fuel pumps.
The good news is that the project has come in at just over half the quoted price due to its excellent internal condition. Based on that we will be sending over the Phasing Case from 423 which we now know was low hours when withdrawn from 55007 to enable that to be worked on.
This could hopefully, if all other plans work, we could have a Spare Unit sitting ready to go.
So, based on all of this we are keeping the GO FUND ME PAGE APPEAL running, see link below, please donate towards this fantastic opportunity.
