Work continued with the repaint.
A couple of the vinyl quarter light covers were attached. The loco numbers and data panels were applied.

Investigation into the rough running of #2 engine continued. Despite there being a noticeable decrease in vibration after the previous work 417 is still not running as it should and attention will now be concentrated on the fuel pumps.
#1 engine was started and the loco was driven back into the depot where a few outstanding jobs were completed, including fitting the brass information plaques on the lower bodyside.
Visitor numbers to the depot were high today, boosted by a party from the Mirfield Railway Enthusiasts Society making one of their regular visits.
