Speaker: We have heard that John Forest, Commissioning Engineer, unfortunately has had to withdraw from being the intended Speaker. John is 92 and, sadly, Anno Domini is affecting his abilities.

Instead, one of the DPS' best known characters will be performing. Recalling his early years in the Doncaster 'Plant' and his recollections with all things Deltic is Vice President Ray Ekins. Attendees are guaranteed a fascinating and entertaining talk.

Members' free travel on Deltic-hauled train to and from the event at Quorn. After the AGM, the Deltic will haul members to Leicester North and return.

The Tin Shed Bar will be serving teas and coffee and snacks. The locomotive is 55019 and will be open for visitors over the lunch break.
